Encounter Youth is the official youth group for students and staff at Good Samaritan Catholic College. Catholic Life and Social Justice have always been an important part of the College but the idea of uniting all outreach and faith initiatives under a single umbrella was born out of the experiences of ACYF 2019 in Perth. Through the experiences of ACYF the idea of a Good Samaritan Youth Group emerged with the hope of keeping the Holy Spirit alive within the school community. On Thursday 11th June 2020, the first Youth Encounter afternoon was held marking the birth of the group.
